Our story
It never surprised anyone when Ken Shipman declared after 17 years in the automotive industry, "I am going into computers". (He has always had a knack for computers since childhood and secretly it was his passion). Ken had been providing computer repair casually since 1994, but in 2004 Ken's Computers officially opened its doors.
Computer repair is just one small aspect of the ever-changing world of technology. All technological touchpoints in our lives must come together seamlessly to provide the best experience possible, through convenience and ease of use. To an IT professional, this means understanding computers inside and out so that they can be integrated with other disparate devices in our lives, such as cell phones, tablets, printers, routers, TVs, and even game consoles.
As a passionate, experienced and adaptable IT professional, Ken's role has continually evolved to keep at pace with the rapid changes of technology. Make no mistake, Ken is not your regular computer geek. Computers are just one of his hobbies among gourmet cooking, ballroom dancing, and discovering new music. The result? Both quality technical abilities and a personality come through in customer service, leaving customers simply delighted.
